Discipleship Ministry's five goals for the life of the community:

• Welcome all individuals as Christ’s disciples.
• Assist disciples in discovering where they are on their faith journey.
• Provide spiritual nourishment for growth and maturity in faith.
• Equip disciples to articulate their faith from cradle to grave.
• Encourage transformational learning to live out their faith in the world.

We believe education is more than just a once-a-week experience. All people are called to a life long journey as Christ's disciples. Each of us sits at the feet of Christ to be guided and taught a new way of life-answering the call to live transformed lives from waking to sleeping each and every day.

Nursery

Our warm and inviting nursery is located next to the Sanctuary in the education building. The nursery has a convenient drop off desk and is then split into two rooms to maintain the safest and most child friendly environment. The children either go into the non-walking and toddler room. Children who are strong walkers are in the second room. Children older than 1st grade remain with their parents during worship. Nursery staff members are CPR certified. Nursery is available during all three services, Sunday School and for special events.

Children

Palms Children’s Christian Education (PCCE) provides a nurturing foundation as children develop their faith through Bible Study, Fellowship, Music and Service. We teach God's unconditional love and grace while building spiritual practices fora lifetime.

Children’s Summer Sunday School

Children are invited to join us for a Summer Sunday School adventure. We will be exploring Values to Grow By with the help of our Veggie Tales friends. Rising pre-K through rising 6th graders will meet in the video room on the second floor of the Education Building at 9:45 a.m. After watching a brief video, they will divide into groups for discussion and activities. Note: there will be no children’s Sunday School on July 4th, August 15th, August 22nd, or August 29th.

Youth

Palms Youth Ministry is the place for 6th-12th graders to find their place in the Palms Oasis through fellowship, study, worship, and service. View More of Youth Ministry

Adults

We offer both Sunday morning and week day opportunities to learn, share, and grow together in faith. Whether you are looking for an advanced study or a good starting place for your journey of faith, we have a diversity of offerings so that you can find the right one for you. Small Groups

Beginning in the spring of 2007 Palms will introduce Christ Care Small Groups. Each small group will be encouraged to participate in four areas:
Bible study, Prayer, Fellowship and Service.
