9:40-10:40 AM
- Middle Schoolers meet together to examine movies, music, and current events through the lens of Christian faith.
- 9th graders participate in a year-long Confirmation program including retreats, service projects, lunches with Elder Partners, and culminates with leading worship for the congregation and making a public profession of faith.
- 10th-12th graders (and 9th graders not participating in Confirmation) gather to study The Bible: God’s Love Letter to Us, growing in faith and wisdom as they explore the stories of our faith.
Youth Group
Sundays
7:00-8:30 PM
Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to Fellowship Hall for fun, faith, and food almost every Sunday night! We eat a delicious dinner provided by parents, break into small groups for faith and friendship, play together, and worship creatively.
The Bridge
Wednesdays
5:15-7:15 PM
5th and 6th graders are invited to a special program that bridges the children’s and youth ministries. We play together in the Youth Room, grapple with relevant questions (like “Why do my parents always say no?” and “Is God a party-pooper?”), and eat a delicious dinner with the children and families from LOGOS. Cost is $5 per week for dinner, or $100 for the year. The Bridge meets most Wednesdays beginning September 9 until March 24.
Confirmation Retreat
September 18-20
Our 9th grade confirmands will spend the weekend at Camp Montgomery getting to know one another and what this confirmation process is all about! We’ll tackle the challenge course to develop team-building skills, as well as challenge ourselves individually on the high ropes course!

Youth Ministry Team

The YMT is made up of adults, parents, and teenagers who want to serve Palms youth and their families. We plan events and trips, choose curriculum, and make decisions about the direction of our ministry. If you are interested in being on the YMT, contact Rev. Katie Day - katie.day@palmschurch.org
Middle School Retreat

Come to Camp Montgomery for the weekend and join with other middle schoolers from churches in our Presbytery to explore “The Story” - where our stories intersect with God’s story.
