Preschool Teacher / Assistant Teacher

Reports To: Director of Palms Preschool

Working Hours: The preschool is open Monday – Friday 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Work hours would include either a full-time or part-time shift during these hours.

Palms Preschool has openings for teachers and assistant teachers. If you love working with children, please consider applying. Candidates should be energetic, outgoing, and enjoy working in a team environment. We require the applicant to have their high school diploma; 45 DCF hours and/or a CDA is preferred.

Full-time staff are eligible for paid health insurance, life insurance, preschool tuition discount, and 403(b) retirement plan. Staff receive paid vacation time, sick time, and 10 holidays. Student Ministry Coordinator

Reports To: Pastor/Head of Staff

Job Summary: The Student Ministry Coordinator has responsibility for the church’s ministry to all students, grades six through twelve. The Student Ministry Coordinator will work to build relationships with the students of Palms, to foster their connection to one another, to provide weekly opportunities for fellowship and growth, to coordinate a Sunday school program, to encourage students’ involvement in other aspects of church life, to coordinate service opportunities, and to plan and lead retreats and trips throughout the year.

Nursery Caregiver

Reports To: Nursery Coordinator

Working Hours: This position works Sundays, holiday services, the first Wednesday evening of every month, and special events.

Applicants must be 16 years and older, must have transportation, and previous babysitting or child experience is preferred, but not required. All applicants must have a favorable background check.
